Steren Car App is a comprehensive automotive platform. During the current phase, the app allows users to list, browse, and explore cars and number plates free of charge. We provide tools for VIN scanning, manual listings, and personalized browsing.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

Account Data: Phone number, email address, and name provided during Sign-up or Google login.
Verification (OTP): We use your phone number to send verification codes to secure your account.
Preferences (KYC): Your selected favorite brands, body types, and cities used to personalize your home screen.

Listing & Multimedia Data

Vehicle Information: VIN numbers, car specifications, and condition details.
Media: Photos and videos uploaded for car listings or inspection grids.
Number Plates: Details regarding number plates listed for sale.

Automatically Collected Data

Device Info: Operating system, device type, and app version for performance optimization.
Location: Approximate location to help you find cars nearby or set a location for your listing.
Usage Analytics: Information on listing views, favorites, and search history to provide you with "Post Analytics."

3. Note on Payments

While the app includes features for a "Wallet" and "Promoted Listings," no charges are currently applied to users for listing or browsing. If paid features are enabled in the future, this policy will be updated to reflect payment processing details.

4. How We Use Your Information

To operate the marketplace and enable contact between buyers and sellers.
To provide personalized car recommendations based on your preferences.
To display "Post Analytics" so you can see how many people viewed your listings.
To send push notifications regarding new listings, search matches, or admin updates.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your information is shared only as follows:

Public Listings: Details you include in a car listing (except private account data) are visible to all users.
Internal Systems: Data is synchronized between our Flutter app, Laravel backend, and Odoo ERP for administrative control.
Legal: To comply with Iraqi regulations or protect against fraudulent activity.

6. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your information.

Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and all associated data through the Profile Settings in the app or by emailing us.
Preferences: You can update your brand and city preferences at any time within the app.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption and secure OTP protocols to protect your data. Your data is stored securely on our servers managed via our Laravel/Odoo infrastructure.
